The used book business has been going through a lot of changes over the past few years. The Internet has had a huge impact (we rode in on that wave ourselves), some of it good, some of it not so good.
We are currently working to update many facets of our business in the firm belief that if you do not change you will not grow. As we have been unpacking our recently relocated inventory, we have been reviewing our stock, and asking ourselves, "what is it that we really want to sell?"
We are not discount booksellers, and we don't want to be. Over the next months we will be culling our inventory, freeing up space for the books we want to be selling: books that you can't find at the local chain store; signed books, out-of-print books; collectable books. The kinds of books that we would want for ourselves.
